Sultan Konak is completed, after 8 months of heavy working, in June 2012 to give you the very best service. It is a stone house with an exceptional architecture which is open through-out the year. It has 7 rooms consists of 3 standard rooms, 2 deluxe rooms, 1 superior room with hot tub, and a junior suit with hot tub & fire place. Each room is decorated with different concepts and pastel colours.
The owners of the house are originally coming from Istanbul and speaking several languages fluently; English, German and Italian.
The hotel is located 5 minutes walking distance from the center in a peaceful area away from the hustle and noise. A 2 minutes drive to the surf center and the beaches.
Nature-friendly heat pump system is being used in our hotel. In winter you can warm with underfloor heating; in summmer you can cool with fancoils. Wifi is for free and accessible in every room. You can easily find a park lot. The bathrooms come with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms also offer a fireplace and a bay window.

Like many towns in Aegean, Alaçatı is making reflections from Greek architecture. The difference here is the stone used. They used light-colored soft stones from stone quarries in Balabanbaka village. For example, there are no big majestic buildings like here in Ayvalik. Almost all are made of two floors. There are gardens. As far as I can see they have not built cisterns or wells in their houses. The wells are in the gardens. The lower floors are definitely made of stone. I did not see much, but the top floor is a wooden building, but the records say that the upper floors were made of stone or wood.
